Fishing Report

Week of April 24th, 2017:

Fishing has been on fire in the Tampa Bay inshore flats to include the areas around St. Pete, Clearwater, Tarpon Springs, and New Port Richey. Redfish are holding in great numbers around mangroves, oyster bars, and potholes. A live greenback pitched into a pothole is sure to secure a bite from hungry Redfish. Trout are holding in about 2-5 feet of water on spotted bottom also using live greenbacks floated under a cork. Snook are in great numbers right now in the back country, and a few Snook have already made there way out to the beaches. Live greenbacks are also doing the trick with the Snook.
